Programs
CCIS operates a number of academic programs, fellowship opportunities and research initiatives at the forefront of comparative migration research.
These include:
-
Fellowships that allow migration scholars from around the world the opportunity to come to our institute to work on their research, and benefit from the center’s collaborative environment.
- The CERC Migration Exchange Fellowship Program provides an opportunity for exceptional advanced PhD students
(3rd year or later), post-doctoral fellows and early career researchers from Ryerson University and UC San Diego to participate in a one-month research exchange. - Our undergraduate minor in International Migration Studies for UCSD undergraduate students is only the program of its kind in the United States.
-
Mexican Migration Field Research Program provides UCSD students the opportunity to undertake field research in Mexico and publish the results of their research.
