Fatimah is a PhD candidate in the Anthropology program at UC San Diego. Her doctoral dissertation research explores the intersection of migration, memory, and belonging in the context of the Kashmiri diaspora in the United States and the United Kingdom. She received her MSc in International Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, as a Commonwealth Scholar in 2016, and holds a B.A. (honors) in Political Science from the University of Delhi (2014).
